Just read that Tim's is opening a location in Glasgow in May. Canadian pastime, and while it's nothing special, we run on it.

    Enjoy, Glasgow tims...

    Like a coffee/cake shop.

Great cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and things, pastries.

Nice, I'll need to try it when I'm next in Glasgow.

I'd rather a Buffalo Wild Wings made its way over here, though. Those * know how to do chicken wings.

I mind it from when I was in Canada, Pizza Pizza was good there too, must have ate in it about 15 times in the couple of month I was there.

It's a coffee shop right? I bought a cup of 'English Cappucino' - whatever that was meant to be. Some 'Timbits' as well which were described, with gusto by the person serving me, as the middle bit of a doughnut. Great name though.

The coffee was the sweetest liquid I've ever tasted and was dispatched to the bin after one sip.

I haven't tried it yet but I walked by it the other night around 10pm and there was a queue out the door.

I have family who live in Canada, and they all love Tim Hortons.

Personally, I'm not a fan. The coffee isn't up to much, but more significantly I've never liked doughnuts and spelling them incorrectly does nothing to improve them.

    * me, I've seen it all now. All my stereotypes have been shattered into a thousand pieces.
Here I am, flicking through what is basically a Glaswegian forum & it dawns on me . . . .
Glasgow, where the cities men are famous for shipbuilding, razor gangs, ice cream wars, crazy SAS soldiers & a fightin 'n' a drinking & now . . . how to take tea in a * cake shop!
The conversations on the merits of the chocolate muffin will be regaled within the hardcore of Glasgows underground for years to come.
"Ay Slasher, you remember old Crusher".
"Och aye I do that, hands like shovels but he made a great bread & butter pudding . . . "

Pass it most lunchtimes and they are queuing along the street. Quite like a coffee but * that. Though was in Costa and a guy in front of me asked for a skinny latte to walk, nearly stabbed the * in the * heid!!!!!

You should have asked him how he expected it to walk, it doesn't have any legs.

I really cant stand these sorts of places. Ask for a * white coffee and they look at you like you're a * barbarian. Hopefully the novelty wears off and the homeless can have that doorway back.

What the * does skinny even mean when referring to food and drink?
