I agree with this... I think we have some good players in the squad just now but still lack organisation. We can blame referees, the SFA and anybody else but if we were succeeding none of that would count.

    PLEA TO THE CELTIC BOARD

I am not one to usually go over the top with bad refereeing decisions etc but this season has been so blatantly biased that as a club maybe its time to make a stand. I am not trying to cover up Tonys many failings (I think he should do the honourable thing and walk). I think we should let the board know that we would back them strongly if they stood up and REALLY challenged the sfa , referees and media in this country. Im fed up being humiliated by the papers , phone ins , and blatant bad decisions on the park. How about threatening not to take part in the Scottish Cup ? Make it known we will look into every avenue to leave this league(without Rangers). Cancel agreement with Tennents (No co operation with Rangers what so ever) etc etc. Make it known the gloves are off and we mean business. Before the parkhead Rangers game , the media and Rangers were more or less saying that a referee with a surname like Conroy would not give them a fair deal. This was ok ?? but when we challenge the sfa over refereeing decisions all * breaks looose and we,re branded cowards. My message to the board. STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR US , WITHOUT US SCOTTISH FOOTBALL AND RANGERS DIE, YOU WILL HAVE OUR 100% SUPPORT AND COMMITMENT. DONT LET US DOWN :31:

Rangers are a better team than us and the sooner we realise that the better. We may have far better individuals but as a team we are no match for there spirit and togetherness and i wish we showed as much heart, effort and character as they do.

as disappointing as decisions have been this season
our defending is the reason we have gifted them the league McManus and Caldwell were poor but i'd have felt more confident in them if we had only given them a decent run together

one + point i take from all recent events is that Thompson and Rogne have shown they could both be really good players in our future

    Keep the Faith

    Top post, fully agree.

I can't believe the likes of Weir & Smith have came out and said it was bang-out that we complained about the decisions.......Jesus Christ, there's enough bad ones against us this season for a potential novel ffs!! I think they know themselves and calling us paranoid is the easy way out, we shouldn't let it lie, who gives a * what they think?

I agree with the sentiment but feel it's a bit late in the day to start making threats to the HUN FA..
I only wish the joint sponsorship thing hadn't been done this year.. I'd also like to see the club explore avenues about going it alone down south.. Im not saying it should be done with a view to leaving at the first opportunity as I feel the fans and especially current season ticket holders should have a major say in that department , but I feel it would send out a message that Celtic as a club will no longer play to the tunes of the hun FA and are prepared to leave Scottish football to move out of the dark ages..

I agree but the thing with them is they have added steel right down the spine of there team, with weir an experinced reliable centre half at we * davis and mcculloch in the middle , they have a team who are willing to run there arses in to the ground for there club:50:

Were as us on the other hand a bunch of dis -jointed individuals who turn up for games and just run about with out a care, and who dont know how to defend

if you read the post, roddy is not denying that celtic as a whole this year have been pish, its just unfortunate thats its took for a shocking season like this for the board to finally say something about the standard of refs in this country.

Yes the ref`s are pish...but we as a team are WORSE...its a non starter this as if were going to waltz into the english league.. the other 90 odd clubs would not have it....the only way out of this is for Celtic to get their fingers out. appoint the right man. buy players who can play and will run through brick walls. i am fed up with this tippy tappy * just now. We were SCARED of Rangers yesterday and that`s NOT on. Plea to the Celtic board - Yes Resign and hand it over to people who care about the club, stop running it like a business.were a football club. we NEED a team on the park who`s successfull. - Maybe you think that buying keane will satisfy the gullable fans (3000 who stood outside till midnight) - a Marketing ploy nothing more when you knew we needed 2 quality centre backs....Keane is a 20,000 seat filler who`s now costing us 65k per week to play in meaningless games from now till may....so a plae to the board SOD OFF.

yep thats right i believe the standard of referees in the sfa is very poor indeed all round .We should make a stand with our own sponsor and get away from this old firm culture . They are dragging us down , good time to make a stand imo what have we to lose ?

Yesterday he looked a bit nervy but i thought he came into it more and done ok

I have been thinking more about it and would probably go with rogne and an experienced centre half but i think Thompson will be an able deputy and in time will become a regular beside Rogne

Thanks for thatScottish Ghirl . Under Tony I dont think we were ever gonna win the league this year but After watching the decisions that went against us in the 2 ibrox games I honestly feel we have to make a stand. I hate being labelled paranoid everytime you ask questions of these people

i agree with this 100% in any sport there are measures taken to allow each competitor have an equal and fair chance of winning but when it comes to the SPL, these measures are almost scrapped when taking into consideration the way Celtic FC are dealt with on and off the pitch, its biast beyond belief and I for one can no longer handle the frustration...the examples are everywhere.Something causes "Paranoia" and it shouldnt have to be this way any longer, there are too many things going on behind closed doors imo.Maybe im sounding a bit "paranoid" but i know somethings are obviously going on and have done for far too long. Its definitley time to stand up as a club and do whatever needs to be done ASAP!

I'm tired of hearing all this bleating about blaming anything and everything but the real reasons for our failures.
The truth is is been like this for over a century.

We get over it by having a team that can defend, and score goals, and a management team that can coach them into delivering that.

This league was effectively lost when Mowbray spoke out publicly about the teams shortcomings (after the Sept St Mirren game?), after that we went on a run that we've never recovered from.
