    CELTIC FC are delighted to announce that Theodore Bjarnason has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

    The deal follows the midfielder’s outstanding debut performance in the final league game of the season against Hibs and caps off a perfect fortnight, in which he has received his first full cap for Iceland.

    That's it confirmed on the Celtic Website now. Good to hear, I always feel a youth player breaking through into the first team being equal to a brand new signing, and this Bhoy looks talented.

    Great news. He has big potential. Should have at least a bit part in the 1st team next season. Unless we sign more players, our midfield is not great so he could really grab his chance.

    as i said in another thread i think he will become a great player and possibly a celtic great. his performance against hibs was immense and young talent is what we need to nurture so i hope he gets a lot of first team oppurtunities nxt season. plus i hope strachan doesnt convert him into a defensive player as it would be a waste of his creativity.:84:

    Yeah but I think Miller could have been really good if he had stayed.I doubt United would have shown as much of an intrest if he wasn't on a Bosman

    It is good news. His debut against Hibernian was a good one last season and likely he will now become a full member of the first team squad this season. So hopefully he can build on that debut and break into the team more often and make an impact next season.
