The Weekend Thread!

Well then amigos, what do we have planned? Long weekend for the Daver (May Day Monday,) and my plans are as follows:

Meet up with the clan tonight, circa 6...good friend is back up from London for the weekend, so looking forward to a good swally / banter.
Tomorrow, afternoon beverages with future brother in law (also one of my best mates) with afternoon sports:

Edinburgh Derby
Cricket World 20/20 beginning.

For those of you who hate cricket, i urge you to give the 20/20 a glimpse.....it's just punters having a launch, and is not like normal * boring pish cricket.

Sunday, chum's birthday, so 20 of us meeting up for an all-dayer.

Finish work at 4:30 today, straight out to the airport for flight over to Glasgow, stay at my gran's house tonight then tomorrow the Shay Patrick McCulloch Memorial Trophy, an all day event that is sure to be a great success and raise lots of funds for Yorkhill Hospital.

Hope to see a good few TC'ers there.

Sunday no idea then Monday flight back to Dublin.

 

Aye - best of luck with tomorrow Danni. A lot of hard work has been put in by some great people, of that i know. Already lots of money raised, with loads more to come. Fantastic.

I was supposed to go into town and eat at my favourite restaurant, but I had a fight with my missus so I am not sure what I'll be doing now.

 

No chance of patching it up mate? Also, you got a link to your favourite restaurant? Always like seeing good places to eat, irrespective of location.

I don't have a link, but I do have a photo of my favourite food. This is Yunnan style rice noodles, hot and spicy, with vegetables, fish, chicken and crab. You get around 12 to 15 small bowls from that pot, and it only cost 10 Yuan (around £1).

 

I couldn't eat that, even if I wasn't vegetarian.
