    The Italian media have praised Celtic fans and Club for a long time, not just this tie. Celtic has always been respected in Italy, unlike most of the teams from UK.

    So did Conte in the press conference tonight when he said (along the lines of) "the Celtic fans were magnificent tonight, even at 5 goals down. We can all learn something from that". Fair play to him for that.

    Come on guys, let's get a grip with this schizophrenic love/hate *. Unless I fell asleep and missed some massive changes, Juve are not a club we have any special relationship with, or admiration for (albeit that the occasional Celtic fan will have them as their second team- as with any other big club)- not a genuine lasting friendship like with St Pauli, not even a vague feeling of friendliness like with Barca or Norwich (or whatever other club is currently flavour of the month). Equally, though, they're definitely not a bunch of horrible, cheating scumbags and deserve the respect we give most other big clubs unless they are truly scummy (e.g. Chelski).
