After watching rise of the footsoldier, just got me wondering who really did murder tony tucker, pat tate and craig wolfe.....i think it would be right to assume they were total * and made lots of enemies.

so the two thats serving life, was it convenient for the police to get a conviction and restore law and order,or are the person or persons responsible still at large?

I think a right few people got roughed up by this nasty trio. Someone had to fall for it. Maybe the cops fitted up the ones they wanted out of the way at that time! There is a lot of smoke and mirrors with these murders. I'd say the underworld got rid of a pest to their operations at the time!

If ye fly with the crows n aw that.........

The "Essex Boys" pretty much deserved what they got.

Quite a coincidence this thread popping up, I was having a look at the crime scene/autopsy photos from the shooting 2 days ago........pretty gruesome

Jack Whomes and Michael Steele are innocent definitely.

The documentary that was on National Geographic a few months ago about this was a good watch.

Bernard O'Mahoney discusses this on British Gangsters:Faces of the Underworld on Quest at 10pm tonight ( I watched it on Friday night.)

He says he knows exactly what happened and describes how he says they were killed but doesn't name names obviously. Jack Whomes brother is on and says he is convinced the police did it.
