The People's Choice Draft (2)

Rules/Information:​

• You can only pick from each category once.
• You will be picking a first 11, plus 3 substitutes.
• Your first 11 will be the team you post in the ranking card thread, your three subs are for the tournament.
• You don't have to use your subs in the tournament, but they're there if you think a different tactic would help you in the next game (if you progress)
• If you win your tournament match, you can steal one player from the losing team, to improve your team.
• You don't have to steal a player, but it usually helps.
• From the moment it becomes your pick, you have a 4 hour window to pick your player.
• If you're going to be offline, send a shortlist of players to someone who is picking after you.
• If it's 4 picks until your go, send a shortlist of 5 players and so on.
• Do not forget to mention which category you want a player for, when leaving shortlists.
• If you don't pick within your 4 hour window and you don't leave a shortlist with someone, you will be skipped when it comes back to you, unless you've since picked the player for the window you missed.
• 4 hour picking windows are not in force 00:00-08:00 UK time, and they're not in force 00:00-08:00 in @obafgkmlt's time zone for him only.
• Keep the list updated.
• Search the thread to see if a player has already been picked.
• If you have any other questions after reading this, ask them in thread now, to save ambiguity later.

Categories (I'll update these as I receive them):

1. Pick a player who has played in more than 1 European final (UEFA Cup and Champions League, not specific)

2. Any player who has been managed by Pep Guardiola

3. Pick a player who has a Z anywhere in their first or last name.

4. A player who has, or has had long hair.

5. Someone who retired aged 33 or below.

6. Player that's been selected for UEFA team of the year.

7. Pick a current or former Celtic player (excluding any of the Lisbon Lions or Henrik).

8. Pick a player who has scored a World Cup hattrick.

9. Pick a player who has only played career matches from 2000 onwards and who never cost more than 5 million pounds in a transfer.

10. Played for both sides of a notable rivalry.

11. Choose a player who represented a different country than the one he was born in.

12. Pick a player who has won a league title in 3 different countries.

13. Pick a player who has played in a world cup final.

14. Pick a player who has never won the UCL/European Cup

15. Players who changed position in their career and were successful at their new position.

16. A player whose initials fall together in the alphabet like Alan Brazil or in reverse order like Edgar Davids.

Remember that this is a snake draft, so the picks go top to bottom then bottom to top, meaning Scotia has a double pick (until his final pick) and Deebo has a double pick (except his first pick).

Ah right. I assumed there would be 11 categories and they would be randomised into whatever order for each individual.

No. I think, given the categories, that would give some drafters too much of an advantage.
