got to play the players that hes hoping is going to fill in against barca

 

i would rather they played at least an hours football keep them sharp

and at the end of the day the league is just as important this year because its streight in next season

It's the champions from next seasons SPL that go straight into the group stages of the Champions league for season 2009/2010

Definately a must win game against Hearts and the attitude needs to be right if and when we go a goal ahead.. The previous match with them at Tynecastle was when the rot started to set in and we seemed to either go a goal or two ahead , and let the opposition get back at us by not closing out the matches (Hearts and Inverness) , OR the opposition scored first and we found it hard to get back into the game and had to make do with a draw (St Mirren and Hibs)

I want to see Strachan play the strongest team available from the start , (Has to be Mcdonald and JVOH again on current form) and hopefully we'll be a couple of goals to the good so we can get to see half an hour of Samaras..

Vital for Mcdonald and Brown to keep their discipline.. Won't be long before the date for the huns game gets announced and we don't need either of those two guys missing..

Im going for a 3-0 victory..

I think the winners of this year’s SPL get straight into the Champions League groups.

 

The co-efficient is always announced a year ahead.. The announcement about 3 months ago was definately saying the winners of the SPL from season 2008/09 goes straight into the Champions league group stages 2009/10.. Somebody on here was also saying we could go straight in next year if we're rated higher than some other similar small countries , Think one of them was Turkey , but not sure exactly how or when that would be decided..

 

I'd play Caddis and Robson ahead of Brown and Hinkel against the Diet Huns, as i dont think it would weaken the team at all.
It makes sense to give these guys a run out before the Barca game.

 

I agree, we play the boys that can't play against Barca, but maybe give Skippy, VoH, McGeady or Haretley a wee rest before the game. We can't risk Aiden getting injured so perhaps stick Robson in for him?

 

There's no way McGeady will get 'rested' for the morra, Hearts are a potential banana skin and we're 4 points off the pace, if anything other than our strongest 11 is fielded i'd be very surprised. That's not to say Brown won't be left out as we have other players in his position that are just as strong. Same goes with Hinkel.

 

Can't wait for it first home game in a while, I'll be there cheering on the Bhoys
