    Hi All,

Sorry to barge in, but it's for a good cause.....

TOP Liverpool band The Farm are playing a headline concert in Glasgow next month and all the profits will be going to Celtic Charity Fund.

The gig, at the Carling Academy on Wednesday, July 16, is sure to be a great night as the football-mad band – lead singer Peter Hooton is a well-known Liverpool fan – belt out their hits.

The tracks will include the anthemic ‘All Together Now’, and the band have already shown their generous spirit when they allowed the track to be used, royalty-free, by Cancer Research UK on their TV advertising. It followed guitarist, Steve Grimes’ successful recovery from cancer.

You can buy tickets for The Farm’s concert at the Carling Academy, Glasgow, on July 16 from their website, or other good ticket outlets.

So why not get along for a great night of music. Remember, ALL the profits from the concert will be going to Celtic Charity Fund.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible, should be a great night!

Also, any chance of Groovy Train, Mr VJ? ;)

Not a great fan of The Farm, the thing that always sticks out in my mind about them was they said in an interview that they tried to sign Bez from the Happy Mondays on a free transfer.
Is Suggs still their manager btw ?

Ah well, even if you're not a great fan this is for a good cause.....and no, Suggs is no longer the manager. I think he stopped doing that in the early 90's.

As far as I know a fella who's now an author, and the co-founder of 'The End' with Peter Hooton, took up the reins.
