It's too easy to blame the stewards on this one. The fact that there was a * willing to do what he did, put our club in danger. What would have happened if, once he got onto the park, another few arseholes thought they would join him. It could turn into a mini pitch invasion, and * only knows what might have happened. The guy has tarnished our name throughout Europe, and I'm glad he is suffering for it.

  2. exhuberance?.....bollocks.

I bet each and every one of us on here has at one time or another been totally hyper or danced with joy at Celtic Park, but we haven't jumped onto the field of play.

    Why not?...

Because anyone with a ounce of sense could exercise some restraint, unlike this * idiot. His act of stupidity has cast a shadow over what should have been one of our finest hours. He is a * who deserves all the criticism he is getting and more.

60,000 people how many stewards would we need to gaurantee no one got near the pitch?. A lot more than we have i'd say and they get payed the minimum wage as well i bet. We'd be as well saying it was Skippys fault if he'd no scored it wouldn't have happened..

Only one person to blame ... the idiot...

If you don't do your job you get sacked, so why should they get away with not doing theirs?

This is whats wrong with this country.

A ned mugs an old lady it's no his fault it's the system it's his parents it's the police or even worse it's the old dears for daring to collect her pension on her own.

Blame everyone else but never the offender it's * madness..:31::31:

You get verbal warnings, then more verbal warnings, then written warnings.

In short, you get a few chances.

Stewarding cannot GARUANTEE (sp ?) that someone can't get on the pitch. We, as individual supporters, have to take responsibility for our behaviour and how it reflects on the club.

we should have a sniper for these occasions. Saves on police time, hearings etc. 100% non-reoffending record. :icon_mrgreen:

Obviously the fan is to blame, i'm not disputing that. But maybe if the stewards were doing their job instead of watching the game then this wouldn't have happened. Dida is also to blame.

They are paid to keep order to the best of their ability. If idiots like this one didn't lose the ability to control themselves then everyone's job would be easier. We're all over the front pages because of him. I opened a paper today and there was 9 pages of him and Dida and hardly a mention of the result. He has tarnished the good name our support has worked hard to make.

Still think its a complete over reaction to ban him for life but then again this site seems to be full of innocent little angels who have done nothing wrong in their lives.
Don't worry banned fan I forgive you!!!!!
