dont know about you guys, but i would like celtic to present mcgeady with the number 7 top, as a token of thanks for what he has done for us and as a gesture of how much we think of him and his potential, he might be happy with number he chose, but for me the ultimate accolade is to wear the hoops 7

TBH out of the full squad we have McGeady looks like the one who could fill it best. He has the skills, he's Jinky esque at times. If he continues on this kind of form I'd have no problem him being offered the No7, maybe that will show him how highly we regard him and he will stay for ever. I don't care what all you say about him being a fairy, he's a great natural talent and can only improve.

Bowroadboy and muppet is far more accurate:50:

Are you aware that the scummy Huns use the three exlamation marks as code for BJK on these types of websites?

i know this is his first big year on form but i put that down to him not being given the chance regular before, he has always been a class act, and if the wee man himself was alive today i know he would be over the moon that we have finally produced someone who can give the fans today what our dads and grandads had with him

He hasn't won us anything yet, and hasn't really pledged his future to us yet. Would rather see McDonald with it.

i would agree with that, although i wouldnt be as critical of mcgeady, he has a long way to go before he can be spoken about as being as good as jinky, but di canio aside, he is without doubt the most skillful player that has played in this country since i was a wee boy, and with better players round about him he will become immense

Maybe the fact that Magic Zarawski was wearing it had a bearing on this. :icon_mrgreen:
