To peter lawwell and the celtic board for producing the goods and supporting wee GS in his plans,

 

here here .! .. well done board ... for a change ya pushed the boat out on this one .. !. my hat is off to ya... as rangers etc could never spend 3.4 or even closer to 5m after his cut etc on 1 single player .. huns have spent 3m in total all signing in close season ffsk... we have now spent 8m or so.

hopefully still over a week left in the market and after todays draw etc ... woud love another 1 or 2 max if possible ... it may be asking a lot or it may not be ... i heard theres still money etc .. and gravesen is still very much in talks so we will wait and see... even if petrov stays wich looks likely wud love another midfielder and maybe a backup goalie or another squad player... cmon celts !!

wouldnt be surprised hes got that kinda talent tbh ... but im pretty sure hes happy here and his new contract is imminent ... wich im positive the lad will sign... got a great career at parkhead to follow imo.. cant wait till hes back tbh ... 3 or 4 weeks hopefully.

I agree, the board have come in for a fair bit of stick this pre-season by a lot of the people on this board, myself included. But this is the type of signing (VoH) i've/we've been itching for i think you'll agree, and Lawell and the board deserve a * of a lot of praise for pulling it off. The icing on the cake would be if we could snap up Graveson and keep Petrov, if we can do that then i really believe we have a side capable of competing with just about any team in Europe.

Terrific day for Celtic Football Club today bhoys and ghirls, im feckin buzzing the now. Its imagination-feeding times like these that we all look forward to as Celtic fans, hopefully everyone (EVERYONE....!!) will allow themselves a bit of space to feel pride at what has happened today, and save the negativity for when we've got reason to be negative!!

i`ve slated the board at times . but well done , we need too remember celtic made 2.6 mil last night without kicking a ball when hearts got put out.lets see one more in that will do nicely....

But he would cost alot but not as much as petrov

I am still not satisfied, Lawwell figures we needed two players that have been brought in, he is dead wrong, we need a backup goalie, and a central defender, and he has left things possibly too * late.
What better late than never, certainly if your thinking about the following season after this.

 

credit where it's due the board have produced the goods. Give us Gravensen and i for one will be highly delighted. Don't get me wrong i am over the moon as it is with the signing today.............but still.....

 

im delighted with the signing of VOH and im backing strachans decision on bringing naylor to the club and i hope he does a good job here but if we were to get grav then i would be ecstatic

 

Well done to the board and G.S, they have done a good job getting VOH in. Still they know there are other areas that need to be strenthened but @ least there is a bit of optimism about the place now. Hail Hail
