I think i read all the anonymous comments after the article itself which were saying it was racist, and then posted.

Agreed. He's a 'comedian' or at least tries to be. The same people who are disgusted will probably sit down to a Frankie Boyle DVD tonight. If you don't like him don't read him.

    * I thought it was quite funny, especially since Cowan says something funny once in a pink moon :56:

Dont understand why some folk are cut up about it.

Don't give a flying * what him or any other numpty in the media says and I fail to see why people get so worked up about things people say.

He's a right bawbag but I do quite enjoy Off the Ball on a Saturday afternoon especially since all they've been doing for months is ripping the * out R*ngers.

we could call him all sorts of names in response to that comment on his page......but the most hurtfull thing we could say about a guy who try's to ply a trade a s a jokester is that....it wasnt funny.....and a real comedian would have thought of the joke and realised it wasnt funny and left such an unfunny comment in their bin.

The thing I don't understand is how did he ever get a job as a journalist in the first place? Every week in his column all he does is slag people off, and everything is basically a joke to him. He comes across as ignorant and uneducated, as bigoted, racist comments like this prove. I can write better academic English than he can.

There's nothing that bad about it. He's the same sort of guy as Clarkson, theyll say stuff to get a reaction. Chill out.
I heard the thai tims joke a billions times and i laughed at it before it got old.

If you read some of the comments from the self-righteous types at the bottom of his article it is pretty unreal. Must be pretty depressing to go through life finding things like this offensive.

Wonder if he,or the "newspaper" will be apologising for what was quite simply a joke in very bad taste?
