Meanwhile, the agent of Champions League winner Sylvinho has claimed Celtic are likely to miss out on his signature following Gordon Strachan's departure as manager.
The Barcelona full-back, who will become a free agent this summer, had previously expressed an interest in a move to Scotland, but is now set to listen to offers from elsewhere.

On sky sports news what do people think about this???

With a new manager coming in , he will obviously have his own targets so theres no surprise that he wont be coming

I knew this was coming, he did really well in the final (IMO) and sure as * the vultures that are teams with daft money to spend will come in for him. Shame.

If Rijkaard comes to Celtic, this story is over. He will be playing for us next season, I can guarantee that he'll come.

BUT, I wouldn't like to see him here because of his age and his ability that was shown in CL final. We need to look for long term solutions on LB position and Sylvinho isn't one of those.

wouldn't be suprised if the huns tryed to get him. He would help bring the average age of their defence down.

Aye, the way he struggled to keep up with the pace in a Champions League final against Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs proved he's well over the hill...

^^ Exactly to old or not he would still bring in plenty of experience and there was me thinking we needed an experienced LB never looked out of place in the final.

Too old and the type of wages we would have to offer he is not worth it , we need to move the club on and its going to be up to the new manager who he wants so no one will be here until thats sorted ,
