From what I remember, Bologna wanted O'Riley in summer. We said no, and then they shut the door on SvH.

They wanted a loan to buy with us with SVH (obligation) celtic said OK then they decided on deadline day they wanted us to buy him but we ran out time for paperwork

The way you put it feels like they wanted the guy sold, adamantly. Various conclusions regarding his attitude or quality could be inferred from that.

 

I hope this happens, I get the feeling he would thrive here.

 

I had also heard we had a deal lined up for Kvistgaarden that could go through in January, no idea how true that was though. The difference there will be he is having a pretty good season so price will likely have increased for him.

That is gutting as the boy is absolutely flying 10 assists in 15 this season from him.

Ipswich are also flying so he has a decent chance of ending up in the EPL next year.

Yeah it should be a focus on a few in January LB, striker because of Asia cup. Maybe a keeper lined up for the summer.

Players out is a must between loans and permanents. However, I think there will be a good few outs we don’t want next summer. We should have an eye on centre midfielders for the summer.

So far Bernardo hasn’t looked like being worth paying the fee for and I could see Turnbull, O’Riley and Hatate all being away. Another centre back may be on the list too as I think CCV will move too. I agree Abada is likely to leave by the summer at the latest too as long as he does ok when he is fit.

 

We cannot allow to let all three leave at once. Absolutely cannot.

I think O’Riley and Turnbull are certainties to go, I can’t see Turnbull sign a new deal and O’Riley will be bought. If Hatate didn’t get injured, I would have had him in that camp too.

With Hatate it will come down to how long he is out for and what he is like when he comes back.

Sadly I can’t see CCV staying past the summer either.
