    Duff isnt half the player he was just a few years ago. For a number of reasons - injuries mainly.

    Shame, he was fantastic.

    na i would only take money for mcgeady if we were to let him go atall. personally a dont want him to go. but if he does i think money would be better for us

    No thanks. I'd rather have Pennant and the McGeady money can cover his wages. Duff was a great player through the middle many years ago.

    Why not? If we were to sign a striker and McGeady goes then I don't see who we could get better than JP. The Left Back could maybe wait until summer.

    i agree with that pennant would be a brillant player up here . he wouldnt have played for arsenal and liverpool if he wasnt a good player

    Jermaine Pennant has missed out on the chance to resurrect his career after his wage demand caused a £3.5m move to Real Madrid to collapse, it was reported last night. Juande Ramos's club were poised to announce the signing of the Liverpool midfielder, who has started only two league matches this season.

    Pennant swapped for McGeady, to play for celtic for 60 grand a wk? pmsl :56::56:

    Not really on the subject of the Swap Deal, but i'm starting to get annoyed at the amount of people who have completely wrote mcgeady off, hoping we get money for him e.t.c...
    If celtic was to get a decent amount of money for mcgeady, does anybody actually think that it would be put straight back into transfer funds? :56:

    duff plus £8million for mc geady may be worth thinking about. duffer lost it years ago, terrible run of injuries although he can still turn it on sometimes he's too injury prone

    Duffs too injury prone , hes not the same player he was at blackburn . So on that reason .. i wouldnt swap him.

    I hope its just a case of McGeady saying sorry to the manager, getting through his suspension and getting on with it. We dont want to lose our best player.
