    I seen that myself mate and i would like to say that Celtic had 5 great years from Sutton and will be sorely missed at the club but in the last season he has picked up a lot of injuries and his best years as a striker are behind him.I would like to wish Sutton all the best for the future and will never forget his contribution in the UEFA cup run, a lot of great memories.

    I heard it on Clyde and Real Radio, think it'll be around 250-350 Grand, fair price imo, good luck bigman, been a good servant but time to go imo.

    It was on STV mate and it seems to be a nominal fee to get Sutton of the wage bill.

    Seems fair, the big mans put his heart and soul into the club and gave us many great years and memories, if he leaves, he should leave on a high at the end of the season having just won the treble...:celt_2:

    The deal is not for the end of the season mate it is for the January transfer window and therefore Sutton wont leave on a high after winning another title.

    I thought it was for January, but wasn't sure, is this the story that was in the paper for him leaving for £300k?
    If we did get rid of him, would be a relief of the wage structure.

    Good luck then Big Chris Sutton what a player he was when MON signed him he wasn't that good in England but when he came to Scotland he changed into the World-Class player he is,Sutty can play in 3 positions that must be good for a Manger to know that Defender+Midfielder+Striker,What a player he was for the bhoys

    Acording to the TV report he had talks with both Birmigham and Everton this morning and the Celtic board are willing to let Sutton leave for between £250-£300 to free up wages of around £28000 a week.

    Yeah mate he has been injured a few times this season but he is a great player when he is fit and you are getting a quality player if all the speculation is right.
