GS and Telfer should get a room. Its embarrasing, for a proud football club like ours.

 

Personal friendships should not be a factor when picking a team. Maybe it worked like that at schoolboy level but at our great club the team MUST be picked on ability. Sadly WeeGingerStrachen doesn't adopt this policy???

Let's look at the facts guys. Strachan is hunting a left back. At present Wilson is the best left back we have. Apart from Wilson, Telfer is the best right back we have. Nothing to do with pals or * chums just picking the best team available. As soon as the manager signs a left back then Telfer will be dropped, until then we still need him.

 

Exacltly mate! The poor wee guy gets slated but he was never brought here as a long term option and has gave his best!

 

Pretty sure he also started a rumour that Telfers gay. =P

 

Ok, let's look at the facts.
1. We play Camara and Wilson in the full backs positions and put 4 past a decent Killie side. Telfer - Injured

2. We then drop Camara coz Telfer's fit again and Wilson goes to left back. We bend over and take it right up the * from Hearts having only one shot on goal the whole match.

3. Praise the lord, Telfer's injured again. We go to Stamford bridge, use Wallace at left back and Wilson at Right back. We hold the worlds most expensive side to a 1-1 draw.

4. Telfer still injured(apparently) - We beat St. Mirren 2-0.

These are the facts - when we play Telfer, we're pish, without him, we do well. (You can almost say the same about Lennon)

This guy Telfer really is amazing, he is now to blame for one shot on goal against Hearts. Hearts away are a different proposition from Kilmarnock at home. Chelsea played Feyenoord the night they before they played us. Wallace did well against the Saints but he is never a full back. And not forgetting we did win the league with Telfer as an almost ever present. I'm not saying he is a good player but he is the best we have at present. The manager knows where the weakness is and is trying to get a full back in.

 

We all want Wayne Bridge its not going to happen. We have Wallace at LB who played well in 2 games there now, he is young and he free's up our best defender to play in his correct position Wilson RB. I know Wallace is a L Wing, but Sol Cambell started his career up front, Henry on the wing, McManus & Caldwell in Midfield, even Telfer is a midfielder who now only plays RB as he is too slow to play in midfield. Sno played 9 different positions last season, all our Midfield can play up front or in behind 1 or 2 frontmen, (except for Lennon and Thomo). I hope Wallaces injury is not too bad, so we can keep Telfer on the bench or in a suit on the stand!
