Strachan has to go

3 titles out of 3 or not, lets be honest anyone could have managed that Celtic team against McLeish and Le Guen, and we got a helping hand with the Huns being in Europe last season.

This team is going backwards and playing the worst football I have ever witnessed under a Celtic side.

I'm sick of the "Oh but we played fantasically well" after everygame we fail to win, we were dreadful today and everyone bar him will admit it.


We can blame the board for not spending, but you can see that he's not installing the drive and determination needed, and hasn't been for 3 months now.


The 4-3-3 today just flopped completly, not much hope when you have a guy who all he does is head it up into the air and the other has 2 left feet. Hesselink gets a great chance to score his 1st goal in almost 6 months and he puts it miles wide, if his biggest attribute is heading and he can't even do that right then what chance have we got?



Rangers win this league then WGS has to go I'm afraid, as we have better players than them.

 

Who do we get in ? someone like barnes? Dalglish ?

Don't make me say 3/3 last 16 x2.

Let's follow suit like the teams in EPL that we crave so badly to be like and sack a manager after a few months at a time. But our manager has won the league 3 times in a row and you want rid because we're second on goal difference ?

the only thing thats wrong is our strikers are'nt scoring. you can see that this team can play good football. against rangers in the first half we played some really good stuff. just no cutting edge from the strikers at the mo. and its not just the finishing its the movement. they arent on form. dont make a big drama out of something thats not.

he's lost his the dressing room, no respects him any more, its a result of him letting the players smoke and drink aw the time, its' time for him to go!!!

 

John Barnes probably could have won the 1st two leagues, even Hearts finished above them ffs.

Last 16, huge amounts of luck, deflections etc. Still getting pumped away everytime no matter who it's against.

The standard of football since 2007 has been nothing short of a disgrace, home or away. I can only remember 2 games this season where I came away and thought "That was a great performance".

We are 10 goals behind Rangers and it shows.


WGS has been here 4 years not a "few months" so I don't know what you're on about there mate?


Take a look at some of his signings ffs:

Loovens - 2.5m - Dud

Samaras - Good for 2 months, awful since then.

Boruc - MON's scouts got him, not WGS

McDonald - Hardly a brilliant shout, it was obvious one of the Old Firm would get him.

Gravesen - The less said the better

Virgo, Du Wei, Donati....The list goes on and it's disgraceful.

Wasting the fans money on these no-hopers.

We have won 1 of the last 6 SPL games, it's not like this performance is few and far between.

Why? Are only happy-go Larry threads allowed on this forum?

If the strikers aren't scoring then most of the blame should go to the manager IMO.

I dunno. New manager syndrome would no doubt get some performances from the guys on the pitch for a change.

Look at the difference a change of boss has made at Pompey and Chelsea recently.

 

It's not just our strikers aren't scoring. Our defenders aren't * defending. * stuff we concede these days, seriously.

 

Aye, and our best one was in * midfield today. Says it all, really.

 

He has somehow blown a 7 point lead in a matter of weeks, the vast majority of people on here thought the league was won after we won at Mordor, since that game the team have played like a pack of sand-dancers, it's a disgrace.

 

Sacking him now will only make things worse. And I believe Lawwell should be fired, not WGS.

 

I like Strachan but questions definitely deserve to be getting asked. We were in a great position just a number of weeks ago and now look where we are. Although I think it's unfair just to blame Strachan. The board and players should also take the blame.
