    Well if you think you can win trophies, play in Europe, and play in front of 60,000 every other week at Parkhead, then your right son. We live and learn, now do yourself proud lad.

    1.2m isn't a gamble at all. This i'm happy with.

    Yes, he has been a chav * in the past, but I'm hoping he's grown up a bit.

    Hopefully he'll come to understand what it means to represent Celtic.

    i was really * at first because i thought the fee was going to be 4m as rumoured, but now hes signed for 1.2 million and i feel as if its a great move for him and the club

    Great bit of business but the club, bargain price for a natural goal-scorer.

    Lets give the lad a fair crack at the whip, forget he snubbed us for the premier league - it probably felt like a move he couldn't turn down at that point in his career. He probably felt his game would benefit a great deal more, than it would in the SPL.

    Hope he makes the most of his second chance, it's not often a supporter of the club would get two opportunities to join his bhoyhood heroes.

    Yes, Im very happy with this signing, getting some stick from my Sunderland mates mind who are loving the fact two Sunderland rejects could be the two forwards for us (Stokes, Murphy) :38:

    He will be a good player for us, stil very young and already a proven spl goalscorer, he will prove a very useful squad player and has good pace.

    I think 1.2m is a steal, bang them in for us Stokes :50:
