We must get more clinical and I expect atleast a bigger win then at the first game:

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Bitton
    GMS Johansen Armstrong
    Griffiths

    Substitutes: Bailly,Ambrose,Fisher,Janko,Forrest,Stokes,Ciftci

Thought they looked susceptible to set pieces, plenty height in that team. Also with GMS we've got trickery to get through, Griffiths to get in behind.

I read somewhere they are poorer at home than away so I would still expect the same sort of game, with them trying to attack a wee bit more obviously.

Their coach seems to think the plastic pitch will upset our rhythm so he obviously hasn't realised we have played an away qualifier on a plastic pitch in each of the last three year, near enough. Not to mention the fact we train on one. If anything it will suit our game.

I think it will be more of the same, us dominating and them having very little of the ball. So I'd play the same team as last week with Van Djik coming back in for Mulgrew and hopefully GMS being fit and replacing Forrest.

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Van Djik Izzy
    Brown Bitton
    GMS Johansen Armstrong

    Is Virgil still suspended?

If he is, same team as midweek but GMS in for Forrest.

Like Dev said, I think having Mulgrew at LB for this wouldn't hurt. If we had another LB (hint, hint) I'd have dropped Izzy for this anyway, don't think he looks up to it just yet.

Mulgrew is pretty average at LB but he should more than manage against this lot. They aren't blessed with alot of pace.

Agree with that lineup, except for Mulgrew. Surely Janko can go ahead of him at left back,no?

I would take 0-0 right now. Although the Pukki Party gif will be a mere drop in the ocean compared to the battering the server will take on here should that be the scoreline. :smiley-laughing002:

Another 2-0. The thumb and big Virgil on the scoresheet. Harsh dropping Boyata, I know he scored, but I genuinely thought Charlie was way more of a presence at the back and moved it about a lot more comfortably. Plus he can't last the 90 atm.
