I want him out the door as soon as possible but I feel sorry for the guy. Obvious Celtic supporter who knows how lucky he is. He's a terrible defender though but his confidence must be the lowest in the team. From club captain/average defender, to rarely getting picked, to total reserve. Mowbray obviously doesn't think he is a player and he must have been counted as one of the "fringe players" tonight leading me to believe he must be going in January. I wish all the best to the guy and hope he can pick himself up. :50:

martin o neill never played him and the man knows how to do his job properly!
dont think it matters how much we get for him as long as we get him off the books as it just isnt happening for him

We need to get rid of him and Naylor, the two of them are rank rotten and bring back O'Dea and sign a new centre-back.

I honestly think there are maybe ten centre halves in the SPL that could do the job he does. His decision making, positional sense, passing, ball control and a good few other things reek of * footballer. He launches into tackles wrecklessly and gives away numerous fouls by doing it, he isn't even good enough to sit on our bench.

I honestly do not have a clue how he has managed to dupe so many people into believing he is good, the captain of Celtic and Scotland? :97:

Got stuck in well tonight after half time and made some good hard challenges!!!

Which is something we often lack.

However his positioning is poor and he makes a lot of mistakes.

Playing regularly might cut down on the mistakes though....

I'd like to see O'Dea given a chance too...

I'd like Caldwell to leave before McManus

I'd honestly rather have the centre backs on my local team starting no joke, worst centre back by far i've ever seen play for celtic (regularly)

It is a shame but if you werent doing your job at work it doesnt matter how nice you are its based on performance and in his case its not happening so he should be gone.

He puts his all into playing for Celtic but he just isnt upto the job. I'd imagine he'd be the first CB out the door.

maybe 2 or 3 years ago I would have said he has potential, which he did, but its obvious that he has reached his peak already

I dont think he made as many big blunders before though.

Now he makes at least one every game

before it was probably every 2nd game :)
