Over the past few months we have had several issues with the Celtic support at home games such as the removal of people moving to the Green Brigade section and the poor attendance on Saturday. This has obvious effects on the atmosphere at games.
Over the weekend I attended the Dubai Rugby Sevens. Fifty thousand people turned up each day, drinking from nine in the morning to nine at night and watching the rugby. Most of the stadium is a temporary structure, built basically with scaffolding and wood with no seats. You could stand or sit(though it was extremely uncomfortable), there was a great atmosphere and as always the event past without any negative incidents.
If Celtic could have a small standing section somewhere in the stadium would you be behind it? As a sixteen year old, the days of the Jungle are only a romantic imagination to me. Yes, there is legal issues but several times over the last few years politicians have made noises about reintroducing safe standing at football and there is several campaigns to bring about this change. It has been proved successful in Germany, so why not in Scotland. Music events and rugby matches allow standing and drinking in stadia, so why not football?

    SPL rules wouldn't allow it.

It was dangerous and stopped for a reason.Im sure there would be a way to make it safe now, using a better design or materials and I would love to see it back but if it is even remotley likely that someone could get hurt then forget it,its not worth it.

If the German's can do it so can we. It's only dangerous if you over sell the section, end of story.

the german fa are actually encouraging this being brought back hence most of their teams have them now ( no coinsidence they have the best ultra groups and atmosphere ehh  ) to bad our fa are an embaressment and will condem it as to dangerous when the german fa have had thurough checks done to ensure its kept safe ie better desings and development. it would be a dream come true for this to happen for me any way but heyy were only wanting a better atmosphere for the players were only customers in the eyes of the men at the top we dont really have a voice now.

This is the main reason why I gave up going to football matches tbh. If was great choosing where you could stand every week and you could always move away from someone who you found irritating.

Now you sit scared to breath never mind sing and if you do make a comment, you'll find a lot of fans turning round and staring at you. The other big points I hate at football matches now in the winter, it's freezing and sitting still on a cold seat is very off-putting and also the amount of times you miss the play by either having to move for a late comer on your row or a row or two below you or just the guy in front standing up at every corner or whenever we're near the goals!

On top of these points, the terracing/standing area was also a good bit cheaper than the stand. Bring back the terracing:50:

When we score a goal I'm not the kind of person who likes to stand up off my seat and politely applaud. I like to jump up and down and go * mental cuddling anyone and everyone around me. It's one of the best adrenalin rushes you can ever feel! So for me yes I would definitely love to see a standing section re-introduced. :50::50::50: HAIL HAIL

A bunch of tourists there nowadays to be honest. They'd be just as happy at the cinema or a theme park and I'd be just as happy if they * off there as well.
