Need battlers on the pitch for this as the pitch will be like a beach , no Ki , Ljungberg , Cha or Loovens please.
    Forster
    Wilson Rogne Mulgrew Izaguirre
    Brown Ledley Kayal Forrest
    Commons
    Stokes

i dont think hooper is fit , but if we his , him instead of forrest and commons on the wing , hoops and stokes up front . I think forrest will be suited to that type of pitch as he dosent use tricks and skill he just knocks the ball and runs for it .

    Going for 3-1 Celtic

I'd start with Sammy as we won't be able to play fancy football but hump it and lump it up, would start Loovens he's been solid if not spectacular since return

I've got ESPN but I may just make the journey to Paradise for this one!
Realistically we should be be thrashing St Johnstone with any of our first team players but will be happy to grind out a 1-0 result as we did today :)

Don't make the journey to Paradise mate!
I don't know if I'd put Sammy and Stokes upfront together or not,if Hooper is unfit that is.

    24.Zaluska(GK), 7.Ljungberg, 10.Stokes, 18.Ki,
    20.McCourt, 25.Rogne & 49.Forrest.

I was watching highlights from the start of the season when we were playing this formation & the movement & chances we made & goals we got from all over the park was superb, So if Hoops is injuried for this 1, I wouldnt mind us trying it against St Johnstone, on that pitch we are going to need to be clever & come up with something & with midfielders bombing forward & beyond Sammy who is great at holding the ball up & linking play, I think Saints will find it hard to pick up there men & we would have options on the bench if needed to change it about as well, Stokes doesnt work up front on his own we have saw that already this season, so Sammy to start this 1 in that formation for me

Tough ane with st j scoring a few and ovb there bad pitch - Celtic admit they might have to play route 1 to win.

Agree with this formation except I'd be concerned playing Maloney on the beach of a pitch so soon after coming back from a long term injury - especially with the games we have coming up.

    was petrov but now McManus
if Hooper isn't fit then Samaras will play on his own. Stokes has shown that he cannot play on his own up front.

I would play Juarez, CM along side Kayal.

    --------------------------Forster-------------------------------
    Wilson---------Rogne--------------Mulgrew-------------Izaguirre

    Brown---------Kayal (C)-----------Juarez-----------------Ledley

    ---------------------Stokes-------Murphy-----------------------

Murphy if he is back fit aswell, If Hoops is out. Big target man on that * pitch.
