Looking forward to this game for some reason, I hate St johnstone away, * ground. But an international weekend makes you appreciate club football :50:

    Forster

    Matthews Rogne Ambrose izaguirre

    Rabiu(if fit?)Wanyama McCourt Commons

    Miku Lassad

I'd rest forrest as he's just played 90 minutes, but id play him if ibrahim's not fit.

I'd also rest hooper, though he probably doesn't need it after just coming back from Dubai the * :56:

Just want to see these 2 new strikers and see how they get on, so no place for Watt this week for me. McCourt was diabolical against hibs, but hopefully get a decent wee game out of him.

    Forster

    Matthews
    Rogne
    Mulgrew
    Izzy

    Forrest
    Wanyama
    Twardzik
    Commons

    Miku
    Hooper

Really harsh on Watt, who will be on a high after scoring a couple of U21 goals, but I think Lenny will want to see how Miku slots in ahead of Wed. Lassad and Watt to get time from the bench.

3-1 Celtic, Hooper to grab two and Miku to grab a debut goal.

St Johnstone have cancelled their training because seven of their players have came down with a virus

ST JOHNSTONE'S squad has been decimated by a virus just two days before their meeting with SPL leaders Celtic.
Manager Steve Lomas had to cancel training this morning after seven players were struck down with the bug.
The Saints, bottom of the league with just two points from five matches, were due to train at Stirling University but after fielding calls at the campus the Northern Irishman called off the session.
He said: "We've had to cancel training this morning because there are six or seven players down with a bug.
"There's not much we can do about it, we will see how things are tonight and tomorrow."
St Johnstone hosts Celtic at McDiarmid Park on Saturday.

Miku won't be playing, he is on international duty with Venezuela i think, so will only be getting back the night before the game i think.

Doubt he will get a game.

now that we start to face the hard teams in the league, this is the team that causes us problems most times we play them. they like to play football and are quick on the brake
hope we can contain them, and get the points needed to get too the top of the division.

This is huge. Our squad has been hit hard, as well, so it makes this game much, much easier. :celt_2:

Is Mulgrew ok? Matthews will need to play too, to get that pumping with Wales out his system.

Not sure how we will line up for this one. But I hope we get to see Ambrose and Miku as I think both are going to be needed for Wednesday. It'd be a big risk throwing the into the CL game as their first match.

We need to grab the 3 points and give ourselves some extra confidence ahead of Wednesday. Not saying go flat out for a massive winning margin but a solid performance from back to front.

Going on injuries and the huge game on Wednesday I'm thinking we'll line up a little like this:

    -------------Forster------------
    Lustig---Rogne--Mulgrew---Izzy
    -------Wanyama---Twardzik----
    Forrest------------------Commons
    --------Hooper---Miku/Watt----

If Mulgrini doesn't make it then Ambrose or big Kelv to slot in. With a team like this we should have no trouble at all in Perth. 3-1 - Hooper, Commons, Miku
