    * answer here but im just not sure :rolleyes: some games hes good some hes bad some hes in and out of,hes to inconsistent aswel

    whoelse would you give it too,hinkel or boruc are the only other candidates imo

    Sorry, but no harm to Broony but he's just not up to the job.
    That having been said, they're really is'nt any outstanding candidate for the job.
    Would be tempted to give it to Darren O'Dea on a permanent basis if he was starting week in week out, to be honest.

    We don't have a true captain in the squad, except for Robbie Keane, so maybe we should just give the armband to him till we get a true captain.

    Nope, in fact (and I genuinely mean this) from our regular starting eleven he would literally be the last guy I would give it to. Disregarding the fact I don't rate him as a player he has no attributes whatsoever which would lead you to giving him the armband.

    I know the counter argument will be 'but he tries 110% and does plenty of running' but that doesn't make a captain unfortunately. Nor does an idiot that picks fights in empty hooses either.

    He's a Celtic player, he has my 100% unwaivering support. Doesn't mean I can't have an opinion of him as a player though.

    That needs changed as well considering heid is away :icon_mrgreen:

    If he's good enough for Lenny then he's good enough for me. He's the one who's seen them everyday for years and knows what type of characters they are. Aslong as the players respect him and he's got a good footballing brain then this could just give him that push he needs to step up his game and produce the goods for us.

    Im one of the very few people that like him, our best cm imo, we havent got many Scottish lads in the squad anymore and he gives every game 110% he can actually get the ball forward and create something, yes he should be captain as long as he sorts himself out and stops getting stupid yellow cards
