    we let him go on a free...and no doubt we won't be spending big in a keeper anyway (£2mil+), and Arsenal were supposed to be intrested in him (BBC site yesterday).

    Newcastle aren't wanting to offload him, he's wanting away as he has bigger clubs circling, namely Spura and Arsenal who have both been linked.

    Yeah Arsenal are apparently wanting him. I would try for that Isaksson if Boruc left, wants to leave Man City, so may get him for around 2 million.

    if boruc left and i dont think he will,i prefer shay given top class keeper had serios injuries but a brilliant i dont no how many times he save da republics neck in the euro 2008 and made da scorelines not worse than what they were but i think boruc will stay at least one more season any way

    the reason why Newcastle are rumoured to offload him is because he is on high wages (higher than Gravesen). he would be a great signing but is he willing to take 50% wage cut to come here?

    Id be happy to see Given replace Boruc if it came down to it. If we took a good 8-10m+ Given and reinvested that money wisely in other areas Id count that as a summer well spent. Given & Cuddicini would both be fine replacements, with a slight personal leaning towards Given due tot he Celtic connection.
