Is your argument seriously based on 'what if's'?.

Izzy has just signed a contract extention until 2013, he is in no way related to this story in any way, shape or form.

Maloney is taking a step up from us going to Wigan :56:That's why he can't get a game.

Same could be said about McCourt...what has he ever done to be rated so much? He's been here nearly 4 years and he's started about 16 games in that time which is an average of about 4 a season!

All the best if he goes, w:shamrock:ould liked to have kept him as back up when really needed but a suppose he'll be itching for games :50:. And in terms of weekly opposition, yes its a step up for him but if you consider all factors its most definatley a step down. And we would be mad to knock back £2m :shamrock:

It's not an arguement, l asked what you will say if Izzy does the same as in on the treatment table for 6 months and leaves for the EPL next season!

Going from the SPL to te EPL is a step up in my opinion!

Shame that it didn't work out for the wee man, if not for injuries and one bad decision in his career (Aston Villa) he could have been a legend.

    Wish him all the best.

Mate, my point is that everyone has different opinions on players, some rate Maloney and some don't, some rate McCourt and some don't!

I dont wanna get too excited just in case BUT if its true i think maloney we can do without as he hasnt really filled me with any enthusiasm since he returned and for big sammi i think its sad sometimes the stick he gets as its very unfair at times i feel but good luck to him I think in the right team and formation he will shine he never hid no matter how much stick he got and for the money he did a decent job for us

nice bit of business if it comes off....

now we just need to flog about 5 CBs and bring in decent replacements

  13. The league is a step up but the team isn't.

    In a thread about Maloney?

To answer your question, if Emilio is out for half a season picking up wages and then goes to the Prem when he gets fit again then yes I will be severely * off. Then if he comes back and is injured 3/4 of the time, a shadow of his former self and Wigan come in for him I will make another thread in transfer rumours expressing my delight

No one is denying that. In fact there are numerous better leagues but the league doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

Is moving from Porto, Marseille, Bayern Munich, Galatasaray or Anderlecht to West Brom or Swansea or Norwich a step up?

Maloney's never kicked a ball since about 2003. I've nothing personal against the wee fella but all he is doing is taking wages out of the club while giving very little back in return and surely those are the types of players every club should be looking to unload.

Two million for Maloney Great deal. Maloney has been good for it he's just been unfortunate with injuries since he got back. I'd have liked to have him and Commons play on the wings together but never mind about that

2million for a injury plagued player is a great piece of business. Maloney may well be the first to arrive at training and be the last to leave but hes spent more time with the physio than even being on our bench. so its a good move imo.

Very good money for someone that hasn't really made an impact since returning. So to not lose much on him is pretty good business.

you right, he's going to a step up... to a better league, but much smaller club.

goodluck shaun, one of my favorite player but this is a cracking deal if we pull this off. to much big wages for spending so much time on the treatment table.
