i take it yer one of those anti-strachan people........rangers played actually quite well i must admit as much as it pains me to say.It was quite even.if you don't like his picking of the team go and apply for the celtic job and see what they say to you.*

 

I have been very supportive of Strachan but today was criminal. when you watch the team week in week out you know what your getting with various teams and selectons. When you select a midfield of grafters thats what you get with little quality and penetration. We are meant to be a team 20 ponts superior to this lot. To go non-creative is a joke as where his substitutions. You'd have thought we were playing Chelsea today with that set up.
The fact that they played well was due to our set up. Think back to November and understand

No he never rested naka, he made way so he didnt have to drop lennon or petrov... Totally disgusting.

 

Naka was our best player for the past two games. He succumbed to personalities, shameful and unacceptable. naka had been dropped previously so he didn't need any "resting"

When he came on he put passes together, set zurawski up for a goal which was onside... And generally go into good positions to recieve passes. But low and behold lennon cant pass that direction, petrov doesnt want naka to perform i dont think or he will lose his place so if you watch the game, petrov passes to him.... once.

Here we go again with the I'm a Celtic fan and I'm no happy unless I'm moaning thread. Yeah we were * today and the orcs still couldn't beat us. The league was won 3 weeks ago in a canter and now they are winding down job done. It's not ideal if you've paid to watch the full season and maybe we would all be happy if every season was like last season.Me, I'll take winning the league as early as possible and not give a * what happens after that. * Rangers, * Hearts they are all * huns anyway.Let us worry about Celtic.

Thats a short sighted view. There are things happening and things that happened today that, mark my words, will have a hugely negative effect on next season. You may not "give a *" about Naka being dumped whilst playing great football or Keane being humilatingly substituted, but you might when they are not here next year.

 

Strachan has stated that makes changes to his selection to suit the opposition, and playing conditions etc. That tells me he trys too hard to please individuals. This is Celtic Football Club FFS. He shouldn't have to even think about who I'll play today and who I'll leave out. We should have 11 players of unquestionable quality on that park at all times. They should be of the class that means no matter who we play, or whether it's pising from the heavens and the park is a bog, they are talented and professional enought to adapt and deal with it. Christ can you imagine Jock Stein putting that team out today? ......would he *!
