We were all looking for him to come out and prove everyone why we paid 4.4m and he was such a Big dissapointment.Thomson outshone him by a mile. For the last few months I've felt hes beeen extremel;y pooor and today he proved me right. The boys got no sense of control of the ball, he sends his anger in the wrong direction and just cant make a positive impact on any game.REALLY DISSAPOINTING!
I feel its time to drop him as hes a ticking timebomb, but the worst thing is theres no-one who can come in and take his place.Robsons not the answer,Donati lacks passion and consistency and Sno isnt developing as fast as I would have like.
I watched the reserves recently and Koki Mizunos passing range is nothing sort of magnificent and I think we HAVE to find a way to bring him into the starting line up aswell.
In this thread I also like to point out the fact that McManus is and never will be captain material.Positioning hes *,passing isnt much better and he seems to nice a guy to have the "Neil Lennon We Hate Rangers" act about him.He doesnt seem to be able to lift the team when needed even though that probably that wee ginger * fault but am not going to slate him as he put out the RIGHT team today its just the players never took there chances.

He's dropped by default for 3 games due to a ban. It's a blessing in disguise. Maybe we can play Hartley and Robson and see if that works.

bollocks he got the team wrong by dropping skippy and playing Caldwell and Mcmanus.
Brown is quality, its the fact he's surrounded by pish, and his creativity is being stunted by poor coaching instructions.

has brown really been playing today? I could hear huns shouting laughing during the whole game "scott brown, 4.4 biggest waste in football".

sad but true I have to agree with them

I always get the impression that everything he does is a bit half hearted, he just doesn't seem to have the determination to go out and perform

had one of his better games though. Did we sort of play a diamond today? Certainly Naka played mostly in the middle and brown played higher up.

Theirs a simple reason for that ... he's a hun.

Lets call a spade a spade, no harm to the guy for takin the money, but he's a hun, simple as that. Does enough to get buy in normal games and makes it look as if he's trying against the scum.

Fair play to him, a mans gotta make a living.

Indeed. He's just an ox with no control of the ball at all. He runs a lot, figt and makes a lot of freekicks. But nearly never creates anything.

Last time we beat Rangers was when Tommy G. playes Browns position, and scored on his chances.

IMO we clearly needs a player as Nakamura in the middle. It wasn't his best match so far, but you must be blind if you can't see that Naka got far better control of the ball, makes better dribles, and better passes, than Scott Brown.

think its a confidence thing. He is superb on top form but we have only seen it in a handful of games. What keeps my faith in him is knowing what he can do. We will see a better Brown next season. Hartley is much older but he was rank until his 2nd season.

When another manager comes in, if Brown is still here, he'll start to show his worth. Brown and Tommy G in CM would be dynamite under a different manager.
I'm surprised more of you can't see this, I've been saying for ages on here, GS has the unusual ability to make quality players look *.
Tommy G wouldn't let him ruin his game and was therefor shunted.
C'mon now, wake up to this guy.

So your saying the reason Brown nevcer scored any of his 2 chances was because of others around him? disagree totally mate, its bacause he lacks that quality that Petrov had to have end product.Hope he proves me wrong but when he runs with the ball he never looks like hes got it totally under control ,it bobbles about everywere.

Name me one single reason why you think brown is gonna be the next real deal? only because he had 1-2 games at hibs? or because he played decent for us 4 times? my *, how on this earth can you compare tommy's situation to brown's? brown is wgs fav boy: no matter what happens, he always plays, always! he certainly doesn't get the same treatment as gravesen and if you fail to see that because of your anti-wgs glasses, then fair enough.

People claimed brown to become worldclass one day. although he's already 23 years old, he's gonna be the next superstar. where is his SPL class at the moment? can't believe it, £4.4 for Brown...

    Thanks for ur productive input.

Nah ur right, a hun would never sign for us for 25k a week, do enough in standard games and make it look as if he was trying in OF games.

It just wouldn't be worth it ....

Fair enough you never wrote that but youre its not the players fault that scott brown isnt performing, its WGS's and his own fault.Peter Martin said hes causing alot of trouble behind the scenes at Cetelic and seemingly he isnt a favourable figure with some people at celtic,a real hadful at times. Why not sell him, make a profit and bring in a GOALSCORING midfielder. If we had that and bobo in there I honeslty belive we would have won today.
