I am not the biggest fan of Robson and Hartley but they look like a decent partneship Mothewell and tonight our midfield dominated. How long has it been since we have seen us do that.

For this reason IMO Scott Brown after his suspension should be benched.

    What do you guys think.?

I'd stay with Hartley Robson definitly, Robson played superby tonight, he played how I imagined S.Brown would be playing every game, tenacious as you get.

I was not a supporter of Robson. But I have to say after the grit he showed tonight flying around the pitch, I want him on the field every match.

Plus his corners from the other side were superb.

When Robson and Hartley have played together they have been very good, tonight they were brilliant. We shouldnt change that for Brown, no way. Keep with the players who are performing

yeah definitely. robson and hartley have earned their place. but to start the new season brown should be in because there is more to come from him. for now, to win the league, the old heads must keep their place.

Surely hartley and robson will get the nod again against aberdeen. Was shocked when robson was taken off tonight as I thought he had been our best player. If they have the same sort of game at the weekend as they have in the last 2 I would play them against rangers and leave brown on the bench.

Definitely - shoulda happened months ago. Brown is still in for one reason and one reason only - Strachan is trying to justify paying 4.4 million on the midfield version of Kenny 'headless chicken' Miller.

Hartley and Robson look like a solid pairing. Even better though move Naka into the middle, play Samaras on the right, we might play with some imagination for once!

Brown has not earned the right to an automatic start imo, and should be kept on the bench. For me, he has been as big a disappointment as Donati.

Robson and Hartley have done enough to merit a start, and I also think a lot of this is down to Nakamura's free to roam role.

Don't see the point in dropping players who are in form just so Brown can find his way onto the pitch, though with Strachan it wouldnt suprise me. Hope Brown has been paying attention to Robson lately, maybe learn one or 2 things about playing for Celtic.

Aye me too Brown is not nearly ready to be leading our midfield and it is highly debateable if he ever will be.

Hartley and Robson are not the long term answer though IMO. Although they will have to be for the remainder of the season.

That's the fighting midfield partnership we need, one staying back, one driving forward... The strings in midfield were certainly pulled tonight...our centre-mid easily handled rangers 3 central midfielders....

Hartley and Robson offer far much more. They have the best understanding of what each other is going to be doing. Robson is very dangerous with them corners too.

Loved his early elbow on Dailly. Would've been a card any later. I think discipline was the order of the day. Brown doesn't have it yet and won't get it until he starts taking responsibility and drops the spoilt hot-head routine. I've got high hopes for what Lennon will do for Sno's game too. Brilliant display from the midfield. Naka and McGeady don't have much interaction, but the pair in the middle were working WITH each other (not like Brown/Donati), even though Hartley had a few duff touches. Big shout out for Caldwell too. He had one of his best performances for us.

Robson and Brown for me. Once he learns his position that's the Scotland CM. Or maybe Ferguson was just a wee bit tired tonight lol.
