scarfs on the park

You have hit the nail on the head with all your posts mate.

The board did not look in the papers on thurs morn see the picture of a scarf on the ground and think 'thats it bhoys thats the final straw I saw a scarf getting flung on the park last night.Lets sack Mowbray'.

There is other ways of making your voice heard, I remember the media going on for an age after the fans singing un-complementary stuff about strachan, your scarf is a badge of honour and it hurts me to see it lying in the dirt.

Also people like me sitting 'abroad' make as many sacrifices to follow celtic as those in Scotland. Its certainly easier to follow celtic in Scotland, I know that I make as many if not more sacrifices now than I did in Scotland, its a very short sighted view to think that because we dont get to games we dont get an opinion.

 

just you make up bull * mate.a said people who sit on there comps....dont make any effort to really support celtic.i was using an example.* on here have selective hearing(or reading).

a didny say at any point that people abroad make no effort to support celtic.if anything the ones that come over make far more effort.i was talking about the supporters who say they support celtic but only pop up to moan about other peoples views,who dont know how people who travel from far and wide to pay good money to watch games......who have the right to say or do whatever they want.the die hards who put a lot of time and money into the club

a know mate.i come on here and try to not argue about things cos we're all tic fans and want the best for our team.we should all be mates really.but people who complain about guys throwin scarfs onto the park when they spend hundreds of pounds a year followin the team is a bit annoyin.if any of our fans were glory hunters they would't have been at that game or any games this season....cos we have been *.every glory hunter a know supports they huns.since they won 9 in a row its been that way

cool mate.just i wouldn't have the cheek to turn round to a season ticket holder and moan about them doin something.they are the ones that keep our club goin so imo they have the right to do stuff they feel is appropriate

I can't argue with that, and i have to hand it to you for waking me up. it has changed my way of thinking.
I reckon I have been looking at it from a personal point of view which something every body has.

its the players that need to pull their * fingers out aswell. Mowbray obv got the full raft and sacked as a result.. but the footballers are paid more than their manager and yet hide behind the managers sacking. It disgusts me at times to be honest. Im not just refering to celtic but teams in general.

 

I still wear the same scarf which my dad got me at my very first celtic game, almost 13 years ago. About the so called celtic supporters who throw their scarfs on the park no matter how embarrassing the defeat was arent supporters and dont deserve to follow a club like celtic.

 

so if someone pays for a season ticket,2 tops a year,to go to away games,and other stuff ie>celtic views,mugs,pictures etc.he doesnt deserve to follow celtic cos he threw away a scarf????????????

 

* garbage . These guys follow Celtic home & away spending all sorts following us (include myself in this).......because they rightfully show their disgust at one of the most embarrassing performances in years they don't deserve to follow the club?

 

I have no problem with it. It is a way of showing you're disgust at the team/manager. If the fan has made the effort to get to paisley on a cold night and pay £25 for a ticket to see 2 * teams , you cannot call him a "so called supporter".

 

Why didnt you say that in the first place then?
Those people you are talking about are few and far between, people who post on here from far flung places and not so far places obviously care about Celtic as much as you do.Their circumstances are different but they love the club. Believe me, people that you mention that say they support Celtic and do nothing to support the club wont come on to this forum on a regular basis and make hundreds of posts.
