    When FIFA made it so only AFC or OFC could bid you knew this would happen. They can't be accused of fixing because nobody else bid for it but they stopped South America from bidding because North America has the next one and Europe and Africa because Morocco, Spain and Portugal are joint hosts on 2030. They have to share that with some South American countries too.

    FIFA is bent, always have been. I hate that slaphead * with the eyebrows.

    I wonder how much money has changed hands between SA , FIFA and Australia to get them to withdraw from the process?!?

    It’s a bad enough concept now… but imagine the state of the game by the time it comes round…

    11 years away… by then every EPL club and big 6 club in Europe will be owned by Saudi, UAE or Qatari companies/royal families/countries.

    They will have clubs in whatever bastardised form the Champions League/European cup takes by then.

    They will flash money at every level and stockpile every decent player on the planet…

    The game is done.
