Should we punt him for his inconsistency or does he deserve 1 last crack to make it here at Paradise.
Im usually very harsh on sammy especially after last year but tbh other than keane he was our best forward and performances like last night remind me exactly why WGS bought him , the guys got qaulity but kinda like berbatov ( not comparing them ) hes inconsistent but if were willing to give brown another chance then surely sammy deseves one aswell.
Plus i want to see if lenny can get the best out of him because like he showed last night when hes good hes awesome.
If lenny can bring the confidence and even bit off arrogance ( which good teams have ) back to CP, along with getting the fans onside i can see sammy blossoming as he is a confidence player, just needs consistency.

I would keep him unless we get an offer we can't refuse for him like something in the region of 2.5 million

I like Sammy... signing Murphy... definately keep Sammy.
He reminded us last night how good he can be and lets hope with Lenny behind him and his confidence boosting game last night we see more of his ability regularly.

One thought.. he played excellent last night... possibly due to the fact he never had a booing crowd knocking his confidence.

    Go for it Sammy

I would like to see what he does if complete confidence is placed in him.

I'd like to see Lenny make him a regular start, and inspire him with positivity: see what happens.

I'd also like the manager to make it clear - publically - that he's playing him in a deeper-lying role. To prevent fuckwits with no understanding of the game's subtleties from getting on his back - "Fuxake Samaras, whit u daein back therr, ur a striker ffs!"

I thought he played well against man u last night, but there has been too many times where he has 1 decent game and then has a really bad run of poor games where he falls over too easy his first touch is poor or just simply a case of playing with no heart.

decent player when on form but far too inconsistent . plays 1 good game , we all love him then plays four or five bad ones , not good enough , we need consistency at our level.

Haven't we seen all this before, don't get seduced, remember the pre season games last year, even chris killen looked a player, sammy has had numerous chances he has proved to be far too inconsistent and therefor should be punted, who knows maybe last night was his last game............

I would like to see him played in the middle for a change.....no point in running up and down the wings and not scoring when your a striker....bit of luck lenny will move him and he will get more goals.

Too inconsistent = too big a gamble. Time to cut our losses.

has had more than enough chances, has shown his potential often enough only to disappoint shortly after and seeing him at the world cup just reminded me how **** he really is...
