With Liewell out the door a new CEO and New manger which I give 100% backing there’s a slight hint of the same old Celtic signing mentality. Surely there must have been some background things happening into terms of transfer targets and signings. With a couple of weeks away from a champions league qualifier against a decent team I fear it will be the opposite of “lessons learnt” we seem to just suck at making signings and fast at that.

with the size of the rebuild I wouldn’t expect to have every position we need filled by now and that’s a lot but I would have expected some sort of movement by now.

If I’m honest I think it’s like for like with Lawwells new replacement, he will be another DD puppet.

We will do everything on the cheap and hope for success while the club spin it as much as they can.

    It’s the DD way.

No doubt the club needs to get a move on with more, but we have secured a couple of signings already.

Some positives so far for me-New manager, Pistol Pete gone, Griff new deal, renewed hope for Tam, new Dutch guy in the house now.
Still many negatives-Ralston retained and then 2 jokers Kennedy and lap top still stealing a wage.
Hopefully see some deadbeats/bad apples/non contributors moved along in the next few days-Nicham, Boli etc.

Too early to judge anyone. DD interest will be peaked by cash. If Dom can make more than Lawell then he's all for it. Whatever the plan is from Dom and Ange, it's far to early to call. But its seems rushed and unplanned. Time and results will tell.

McKay can only do so much and it's Desmond who pulls the strings and will say again we need new leadership at the club as things stand with only two signings in and not alot spent so far I will see where we are when the transfer window closes but the club know how big the rebuild is .

We knew about his deal months ago, I would honestly say the other lad is a new signing that’s come out of nowhere.

To say we signed two that week is not the case cause he signed months ago and just came at the end of his contract.

I'll wait and see where we are this time next week, where we should have at least, a new RB in place. Maybe a GK too. Unless he's seeing something in Barky:40:

Have to say not impressed by the speed or type of signings atm , it looks like nothing will be spent till money in from sales , as the op says same old .

Think we'll probably get an idea of where things are going by the end of the week. I think the training camp starts Monday, and will be the first time Ange has got to look at the international players from the Euros. After a couple of days to assess what he has, the attitudes and how they gel together I'd expect serious transfer business to start next weekend some stage, and then see how the behind the scenes stuff pans out
