anyone else startin to get fed up of him spouting off in the papers everyday. for a loanee he certainly has some opinions to share.
Cracking player though so what are you're thoughts on this? I would certainly like him to stay but not through playing him as a result of his demands in the papers.

I'm sure that Sammy was alread frustrated that he didn't start against Motherwell at Parkhead but I have a terrible feeling that Deeks' outburst may have given Sammy negative ideas about Strachan. I'd be gutted if Sammy left.

he should start tomorrow night, if gordon starchan does his job right. rangers lack mobility and speed at the back with big sam in there i would be alot more confident!

He is the most gifted of our strikers and should have been in the first eleven long ago. To me he should be playing upfront with JVH as I don´t really think a Skippy/Samaras partnership compliments each other as they both prefer the game in front of them rather than playing with their backs to goal. Their lies the problem as Skippy is our top goalscorer so how do you drop him.?

exactly ellboy. you can't drop your top goal scorer. as for jvoh, how can he be called to be dropped ? he scored 2 in the last game, what must this man do to keep his place with the fans?

JVoH and Samaras up. If they give their best, expect wonders.

Agreed *, I couldnt drop Jan or mcdonald. only way to play sammy is 3 up front! why the * not? .............

cos rangers play 5 in midfield and would dominate if we play 3 in there.

I agree * JVOH has been decent and deserves his place in my view.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

The last OF game Sammie and JVOH played quite decent together for the first 35 mins and I think they are more suited as a partnership than any other combination. Also if our Midfield can get up and support them quicker this time then I think they would be a potent threat.

I know Skippy scored last week but it was his first for quite a while. So I think I would start Skippy on the bench for this one.

not faulting skippy in the slightest as im a massive fan, but he hasnt been such a prolific scorer of late...

You just know Strachan will start with Skippy/JVoH and that Wattie will be rubbing his hands. Would hope Strachan has enough sense though to suss this and think very seriously about using Samaras second half, especially if we're behind. If we need to chase the game then he better go 3 up front...this is our last feasible chance to put pressure on the orks...we win this and it sets us up nicely for the next OF game...lose it and we're *. Lets not hope Strachan doesn't wit till 15 mins to go before changing it around if we do need a late goal. A point is not enough here..only a good win will do.

I wouldn't stay either if i couldn't get a game. JVOH scores against a pish team in a romp and everyone gets excited. Watch him * shrink tomorrow in a big game as he always does. No speed, easy to mark. Samaras should be playing from the start, end of story.

good point jim. in last old firm game sammy was the one who showed any glimpse of effort or class. jan showed nil. maybe its sammy and skippy's turn up front. do you know what, it should be.

Seen this one coming, Strachan won't start Samaras for the remainder of THIS season imo

he has to be patient, cant expect to break up a partnership like skippy and big jan easily. he's been brilliant coming of the bench but even BBJ had to wait for his chance at parkhead
