    Unfortunately HSV - whatever the quality of their team - have a substantial scumbag element among their fans. They have a lot more in common with Rangers than with us.

    St Pauli, by constrast, have a great set of supporters - very positive, very friendly & welcoming.

    That's the sort of things these relationships are based on. :50:

    the thing have become more intresting i read the article but i read also about the relations between Rangers and Hamburg about which i haven't known before the article devoted to their alliance existing over 30 years and say that Celtic- St Pauli was set up against Rangers Hamburg relations

    I don't think I would call Rangers' relation with HSV an "alliance".

    These sorts of club are like tapeworms - their only alliance is with themselves.

    Their only link with the other lot is a recognition of mutual loathesomeness. :50:

    This is turning into a killer weekend for Pauli.

    2-0 away against one of their main challengers, with Fortuna and Arminia also getting beat.

    If Augsburg drop points next week it's looking very good for promotion. :50:

    I mentioned the win today to one of my friends who is a Freiburg fan. Told him, maybe Sankt Pauli would end up in the bundesliga with them next year, that is if Freiburg don't get relegated. They are doing amazing this year. Hope to watch them much more next year, maybe they will get more tv coverage if they are in the bundesliga.

    I follow them like crazy, try and watch all the games live. Been to the Millerntor quite a few times, there's nothing like it. My brother lives in Hamburg and is in with the Ultras and everything which is why I'm so into them too.

    Definitely going for promotion this year, next year let's go for a champions league spot ;)

    As I speculated last week, Augsburg have dropped points away to a decent Union Berlin side.

    Pauli now seven points clear of 3rd place. Just need to keep it going and it's top flight football next season... :50:
