    Just a minor correction regarding the original post and some others:
    we are Sankt Pauli or St. Pauli for short but never Saint Pauli or just Pauli.
    other than that, we have a fantastic season so far with some talking promotion already... I say, wait and see and am rather happy if we finish 7th and stay in league 2.

    I think we have been rather luckier than results suggest. We've had a couple of games when the opposition didn't really turn up and yesterday we did look kind of back to our old selves. Still, we are top of the league and Takyi especially is looking very good.

    As long as they don't move our * games to stupid times to accomadate TV (we've had a big campaign against this in the last couple of seasons - nothing more annoying than booking a weekend in Hamburg well in advance and then they change the game to Friday/ Monday for TV and you miss it by hours.)

    I love this team man. I met a St Pauli fan in Glasgow one day he saw me in the Hoops and came over to talk to me. Nicest guy i've ever met randomly, had a cig with him and talked about football for about 20 minutes then we went our seperate ways so i could catch my train.

    Go on St. Pauli !!!

    Unfortunately we lost 2-1 to Kaiserslautern so our great run is over :(

    No shame in losing to a club like that though IMO.
