Has to be Ronaldo was Amazing at Man Utd but seems better at Madrid if possible lol, performances like the one against Sevilla and scored tonight against Lyon 21 goals in 22 games says it all. Ronaldo, Messi then Rooney, Rooney is catching up with his two goals against AC tonight proves that he is quality.

Depends though, if you are asking the question as to who you would have leading your line by themselves, then this is a much tougher question than who's the best- because they play with players that suit them.

Though i actually think Rooney and Ronaldo are similar, powerful runners - Rooney probably has more energy and more bite, but Ronaldo is more skillful by far.

I like them all but what decides it for me is Rooney's tracking back and his passion. But i think Ronaldo is more of a form-man so i would rank him 3rd after messi. Though they are all class

I think Messi and Ronaldo are a world apart from everyone else, I'd usually pick Messi because he's 2 and a half years younger and more of a team player - I always think Ronaldo's a bit too selfish.

It'll be interesting to see who World Player of the Year is this year, past 3 years the winner has come from the team that has won the Champions League which will probably rule out C.Ronaldo for this year unless Madrid win the league and Portugal do very well at the World Cup.

Rooney has been world class but like I said before I think he needs a performance at a big final to put him right up there as the top player. He was pretty anonymous in both Champions League finals although he was played out of position.

 

Rooney any day of the week, he is the most dangerous striker on the planet at the moment.
