There's not much know at the time, but all signs point to him committing suicide, got hit by a train. :54:

Was voted the best keeper in Bundesliga last season. Played for Barca in the past as well.

Some reckon so, aye. His 2-year old daughter died of a heart defect in 2006, and apparently it's caused him mental instability (can see why, obviously).

    Bless his Wife

    RIP

No details really known yet, except that he has thrown himself under a train.

Here's the first article in English I found:
BREAKING NEWS: Germany goalkeeper Robert Enke dies age 32 | Mail Online

He also leaves behind an 8 months old daughter he and his wife adopted.

Was this just mentioned on SSN, I caught the tale end of something and the presenters looked pretty shocked which made me think it was something like this.

RIP to the guy and I feel awful for this wife and daughter.

bbc website says it was an accident, likely they dont have an updated source considering police said it was all pointing towards suicide?
