    A centre half at 5'10. That's a bit risky in itself. Still there must be something decent about the lad to have 22 caps at the age of 20.

    If you can defend that position well enough, height isn't an issues. Some of the best CBs of all time are under 6ft.

    Would be an option as a sweeper in a 3 man backline. In a CB pairing the burden of aerial dueling might be too heavy for one CB.

    Has to be O'Neill's most idiotic decision at Celtic. What was he thinking? Rivaldo went on to absolutely rip it up at Olympiakoas that season as well. We end up with Juninho anyway, a much lesser player a whole year younger who didn't need a trial for some reason.

    We also had Danny (Portuguese one who played years for Zenit) and Thomas Hitzelsberger on trial under O'Neill and let both go. Considering we were refusing to spend money back then, any of those guys on a free would have been class.
