Hoping Matthews is played in front of Lustig to negate Sevcos stronger flank. Forrest is being brought back sparingly & Tonev has been out a while. McGregors form has dipped & Henderson hasn't enough experience. My only concern is Lustig hasn't played 90 mins & there may be a temtation to play him in front of Ambrose.

Smith and Wallace aren't what I'd call a threat. Matthews and Lustig v the likes of Barca not the team 13 points off the pace in the championship

Kris Commons would be on the right hand side if it were up to me.

I didn't say a threat. Nor did I say strong. I alluded to one flank being stronger than the other. Jesus f**king wept what is super * defensive about Mathews wide right * right off with that *

Commons in front of lustig for me

We need to concentrate on what we are going to do with the ball and not worry about them, commons will drag them out of position and come onto that left foot of his think he may be the one to break the deadlock as they park the bus

Playing Adam Matthews ahead of Forrest or Commons is defensive

Matthews is a defender, he offers far less that Commons, Forrest, Stokes, Griffiths or however else we want to play on the right. It makes no sense start him just to combat an area that isn't even that good. We focus on our own strengths.

Why would Ambrose play? Denayer will start...as always when he is fit.

Deila says he has no injuries except Mulgrew so I reckon Forrest might get a start.

I'm hoping Lustig will play although wouldn't be too unhappy if Matthews plays. He's not as bad as people make out imo.

Commons - How Many games has he played wide right this season ?

Stokes - to use a popular phrase .. eh .. ? He plays wide right

Forrest - How many games has he played in the last year ?

Griffiths - Will be started up front not wide right

Offers far less ? He's offered more on that side than many recently.

I for one agree with the OP. We must nullify the threat of the mighty Lee Wallace. Him roasting Commons and Lustig and throwing in pinpoint crosses for Boyd to outjump and out muscle Van Dijk is a frightening prospect, and will surely result in our inevitable demise.

I'm pretty sure Ambrose won't play at right back when we have two very capable, fit right backs atm.

    He'll be on the bench.
