On twitter saying they have attacked fans in the red light district. Got a few mates on there way over the now on ferry. I told him to watch himself before he went over he's never been away and he's buzzing.

I know it's not in the stadium but something needs to be done about this. We shouldn't be going away to watch our team in fear if attack from hooligan types. Hope everyone stays safe

They'll be fine, every Euro trip there is always a shower of fannies causing bother. Our bhoys know how to deal with it.

I'm on the first KLM from Glasgow tomorrow...I'm expecting a great day in the Dam :)

The Red Light District is a cess pit of criminality at the best of times.

I sat and had a pint with my Missus at 12 in the afternoon and watched a coloured chap boot * out a van before the folk inside the van got out and leathered him. Celtic fans just need to be careful and watch their backs.

The Celtic fans wil probably cause more bother among themselves during the trip than any of those dobbers will.

They've attacked our supporters and stole banners (no real surprise there).

I doubt that'll be the last of it,a scumbag section their fans seem intent on causing bother.

they went into a pub with celtic fans inside then ran back outside again and as for the banners it was one CSC banner that's all.

You clearly have zero experience of Amsterdam.

The police will not get involved unless it becomes absolutely crucial. That is the way it is in Amsterdam and the way it always has been, including when opposition football fans are in town.

That's one of the problems I have with social media type thingys. Takes one guy to put something up say, one Celtic fan gets punched in the Dam, and by the time it reaches ten people along, the story has changed to Celtic fans being ran all over the city. I was in Amsterdam for the 3-1 game, heard there was bother but never seen anything major myself, hopefully this time its the same.

I've been in Amsterdam since Monday afternoon. Absolutely no bother whatsoever and I've walked around quite a bit. I'm not saying there's no bother here at all but the vast majority of us will be fine if we want to be. The nutters will start scraps if they want to
