I would dearly, dearly love to believe that he will stay on. Unfortunately I just cannot see how it's going to happen. :54:

We are basically a shoo-in for 2nd place and a playoff round for the CL. Spurs at best could finish 4th maybe and get in a playoff round as well. Are you saying they have a better chance at progressing further?

i really cant see Robbie pushing his way back into that Spurs side at the minute, they're
flying & have a good balance to the side. i think like the poster above that Redknapp will move him on for the right price, i dearly hope he can be here next year.

Sounds like a right bullshit-fest lately with Keane & Reid spouting pish.

Lets see what happens in the summer, that's when the truth will come out.

Personally I think Keanes ticked the Celtic box & will move on - all this talk about being a fan is bluster - Larsson was here for 7 years in his prime & still played for bigger clubs than Keane...so it can be done, you've just got to WANT to play for the club & not only for a 5 month loan period (that doesn't count).

Some old pish we had with Bellamy, everyone around him slabbering over him begging him to stay. Keane knows what side his bread is buttered on and he'll duly do one back down the road.

Hairytoes post above got it spot on.

Exactly mate. after one of the worst seasons in the past 10 years everyone comes out now and starts talking nice... Reid, Keane, Lennon..

they say what we wanna hear. Great. they are great talkers. but are they great workers too? Keane yes, but will he stay and chase the money? probably. Reid not a big fan of his, he can show now what he's capable of. Lennon, hasn't got the chance yet, but I'd say it's too early for him.

Keane will leave Celtic this summer, everything else would be a major surprise.

“I could have played in the Premiership, I could have stayed at Tottenham who are a top four team''

You could have Keane, sitting on the bench the majority of the time.

He is not worth 65k, I don't care what anybody says. We have had much more effective players in the past for a fraction of that wage.

He doesnt sound convincing at all. Not a chance in * of him staying. Hes moved from club to club all through his career. This is just another tick to add to his checklist before finishing his career.

Ok he supports celtic, so what, so do alot of high profile players. Doest mean he is a true hoop i.e Neil Lennon. Someone who has the clubs interest, supporters interests and boards interests at heart not just himself and the thickness of his wallet.

If wages wernt everything he would be convincing us that HE WANTS to stay and not avoid the whole topic.

    Top * he is.

Get rid and bring in Kevin Doyle.
