Raul???

Spurs have dropped interest in Real Madrid legend Raul, now apparently his agents are touting him to Newcastle, Everton and West Ham. Rumours were he was seen in Glasgow last night.

Do I believe he'll join Celtic, no I don't. But then again, I said the same thing about Keane.

We do need a big box office signing to lift the whole club and set the tone for the next season and also to get the season books sold.

Raul is a free agent, so who knows. At 33, I do fear he's past it anyway.

 

no doubt he's looking for one final pay day, wouldnt be suprised to see him end up at Liverpool or Man U

Not sure the big English clubs will be that interested. If Spurs have dropped interest he must be a bit below par.

If it's just about the money, I'd rather we left him well alone and went for Bellamy instead.

 

Schalke were said to be in for him at one point but he's in the UK just now.

I'd think he'd fancy EPL and probably with a big club - maybe Liverpool if Torres moves on.

Theres more chance of Keane AND bellamy joining us than Raul. I for one would snap him up in a second, think of all the merchandise sold with Raul 7 on it, that alone would pay a fair chunk of his wages however even if he was offered 80k a week (which he still is worth) i guarantee that he wouldnt even entertain us. The guys a multi multi millioniare if he just wanted cash he would be playing in Dubai or the USA, hes looking for 1 last challange for his already legendary career. And before you say no player is bigger than Celtic i agree but there are players that are bigger than our crappy league
