    Our best player last season was McDonald, his 25 goals. McGeady would be a close 2nd with his goals and assists. Boruc kept 15 clean sheets but I remember some clangers from him that taints his season but only into 3rd place!

    No doubt that some people will focus on the run in but every result was important and McDonald and McGeady were doing the business for us in more games than anyone else.

    McDonald if we're to single anyone out but I think a lot of players played their part. Robson proved to be an important signing and as was pointed out in an above post VOH scored some vital goals but so did Naka and Samaras.

    although mcgeady for his performances throughout, skippy for his goals were also important

    agree with you dempsey bout boruc's clangers however we did have the best defensive record in the league and that was mainly down to him i think

    You would think McDonald, due to his amount of goals, or you could look at Robson and Hartley coming into midfield as the pairing, and the season turning in our favour as a result.

    Points scoring business though, so McDonald for me.

    Throughout the season Skippy, Boruc and mcgeady were instrumental, from start to finish we wouldnt of won it without them.

    In the run in it Robson, Caldwell and Venegoors goal in the 2-1 stick out for me.
