Done that test a few times and always get basically the same result. Well to the left of centre and just above the line into the red area.

Was sure we already had a thread on this...

I always seem to end up just inside the red square, despite my responses to the questions varying somewhat each time depending on my mood/haste to complete the quiz.

I swear I thought majority of our support (on this forum) would be Green so far. Surprised.

They are, don't worry. I feel the test is slanted in such a way that it's actually quite difficult not to end up in the green area.

What makes you think that? I think the questions are pretty balanced on that site.

The political compass test is an old TC favourite. It makes a reappearance at least once a year. In all my time on this forum I have never yet seen someone end up in the purple square. Only one or two have ended up in the blue square. I would reckon over 95% of the people who took the test have been in the green quadrant. I doubt there is that much of a hive mentality on here when it comes to politics. Which suggests to me that the test is flawed. I could almost guarantee that my answers on some questions were a world away from the answers others on here gave and I very nearly ended up in the green quadrant myself.

I'd be interested to see where James Joyce and TheHolyGoalie finish up on this test. I'd say they're a deal further to the right than the average TC member. So if they end up in the green section then I really will know the test is broken.

My result is pretty much this but it looks slightly more to the left. It kinda surprised me, but I'd say on the whole I would be in that quadrant.

I ended up almost smack bang in the centre, which came as a surprise to me.

I was about to say I'm interested to see HolyGoalie, Joyce and JMcB's scores bescause I was thinking the test may be biased myself. Should be interesting anyway.

So you don't feel that's an accurate representation of where you thought you were. Where did you expect to finish?

You see right through me :54:

I'm not sure, but seeing as I'm centre left economically and quite right wing socially, I thought I'd be slightly more to the Right overall.
