Positions we need to spend money on if we are to at least get to the group stages of CL.

One x Decent centre half to play alongside Charlie.

One x Creative midfield player in the mould of Lubo

One x Genuine left sided midfield player

One x Strong centre forward who could play upfront on his own, if required.

The rest of the players we currently have are good enough to win the SPL, but unless these improvements are made the best we can hope for is group stages of Europa League.

We may need to sell some of our better players to give us enough to buy the above, so I would be willing to trade Ki, Hooper and any number of squad players to make this happen. Hopefully, we can also move on some of the non/seldom playing squad members like McCourt, Commons, Loovens, Cha, etc; in order to raise a little more cash, if not through fees then through wage savings.

    Players I would keep:

Forster (need to sign him first)
    Zaluska

    Matthews
    Rogne
    Mulgrew
    Izzaguirre

    Brown
    Forrest
    Kayal
    Ledley
    Wanyama
    McGeouch

    Stokes
    Samaras

    Undecided

    K. Wilson
    Lustig
    Blackman
    Bangura
    Ibrahim

I agree with the type of player we need, apart from the creative midfielder one, we may need one but I am hoping Ibrahim can fill that role.

Gary Mackay Steven could be that genuine left winger, quality centre back's and target men are harder too find for a club like us who don't spent a lot.

I wouldn't sell Hooper or Ki, I'd rather get rid of ALL of the deadwood and then rely on our talented youth players too come in as squad players, people like McGeouch, George, Twardzik, Fraser, Watt, deserve their chance.

I don't think a central midfielder is vital, we have enough cover in that area. I think Kayal, Ledley, Wanyama, Brown and Ki are enough cover. I also think a new right winger is more important than left. We've got Sammy and Commons to play on the left, as well as McCourt and Ibrahim, but only really Forrest on the right, and if he gets injured then it's just Brown out there and that means losing a CM option as well. A big, experienced centre forward is needed as well, and we definitely have to tie up Forster permanently. We could do with a new, experienced CB but I don't think it's vital.

if anything we need a settled back four as when it has been their records speak for it self like last season when Maj and Rogne were at the heart of defense for a long while didn't they go on some clean sheet run? but funnily enough Forster is on course or already broken his clean sheet record.

i would say a big hulk of a ST to make the most of our crossing and getting the team to play the sexy football it did last season but with the consistency of this season

An old fashioned winger who can cross the ball for fun , a central defender who will walk straight in the team and a striker who is better than what we already have :50:

How are our young players going to help us go up a level? Don't be deluded. If these boys were good enough they would already be starting like Forrest. Problem is they aren't.

If the money was right and he was replaced with a player of better calibre, then makes sense to me
