best player in the first half was mcgeady. give him a 9 in the first and a 6 in the 2nd. 2 goals is getting it done though. next best was donati.

Boruc - 7, didn't have much work to do.
Hinkel - 9, fantastic performance and he kept Aluko quiet for most of the game.
Fox - 8, very good crossing and he had that shot that unluckily didn't get in.
Loovens - 7, stable for most of the game, but had wee rambles in the box.
O'Dea - 7, surprisingly named as captain and he proved why Mogga gave him the armband. Good job in the back, went to opposition's box once and almost scored.
N'Guemo 8, beast, as always.
Donati - 8, good on the centre of the park, although, did much better and effecting job as centre-back.
Maloney - 8 , lots of headache was produced by Shaun's storming in.
McGeady - 9, it's between him and Hinkel for man of the match. Surprised me with two goals, scored only 3 last season and now he proved to us that he's learning what finishing product is about.
Fortun'e - 8, done his job good, although could've passed more often rather than waste few shots.
Skippy - 7, despite the goal, had that great chance when Langfield showed his class.
Samaras - 7, I think 7 is OK, considering his minutes on the field.
Brown - 7, same as Samaras, and Broony had that wee run which wasn't used properly.
Killen - /, can't judge much, he didn't spend enough time on the field with ball in his feet.

And for the end, I'd like to praise Langfield, man saved Aberdeen from 10:1 defeat.

 

Boruc 7 Wasn't really busy. He did OK, and the goal was hard to save.
Hinkel 7.5 Helped the outstanding McGeady today, Aberdeen couldn't stop our right wing attacks due to his help.
Loovens and O'Dea-7 No problems, they didn't let * happen at set pieces, kept things tight.
Fox 8.5 In defense stable, pass was laser-guided at times, nice shot... Only set pieces aren't superb, but there must be someone else who can do it. Our LB problem is gone.
Maloney 7 He was okay, ran at the defense, tried a lot, though, sometimes he should've passed when he hasn't. I'd hate to see us without him.
N'Guemo 7 Mostly stable, combative as usual, maybe one dodgy pass. He's looking good so far.
Donati 8.5 Composed, fierce, timely in reactions. Accurate passes. Comfortable even at CB-Mowbray has brought him to a high level of performance.
McGeady 9 It's as if this wasn't him today. Willingly passed to others, dribbled well, but not too much to ruin a crossing chance. He scored a peach... I think there was intervention from above in his case, today. May it continue.
McDonald 7 A poacher's work. He tried to be dangerous, and succeeded. Good to see that our most likely goal threat is doing well.
Fortune 8 When you have a goalscorer, you have to have somebody to help him. That's Marc's job. And he did well. He may have missed his chances, but he worked his * off. A bit DM-ish, but that's someone willing to do the work for others, instead of taking the glory to himself.
Samaras 7 Tried, harassed the defense, in conjunction with others. Good work.
Brown 7 Fought his battle in the middle well, I hope he regains full fitness soon.
I can't rate Killen, as he hasn't played with the ball much.

Donati- 8 worked hard, fantastic range of passing always kept possesion

McGeady- 9 outstanding first half, faded slightly after halftime
Fortun'e- 7 worked the channels well, needs a agoal

McDonald was once again a class above.

 

I would have said thats about right. Fortunes movement allowed the wide men to play some football, also allowing the fullbacks to come up

 

People giving Fortune the same mark as Skippy need to have a look at themselves.
