Have the DVD from that tour ,they recorded it at Donnington ,,Great gig .:50:

Charlie Nic ,in my view he should have went to Liverpool but the bright lights of London appealed more to him ,and he earned the tag as Champagne Charlie ,he had it all at Celtic and possibly could have went on to been a star .

    Wrong club in my view.

Lead singer of Sublime, a band from Long Beach which is iconic in Southern California and really popular all over the rest of the States. He fused together a bunch of different styles (dub, ska, reggae, punk, hip-hop) and was a lyrical genius in my opinion. Most music from Southern California is directly influenced by him.

Seems the band made a packet after his death ,releasing more albums after his death than they did when he was alive ,Im a big fan of Greenday and it seems they were influenced by him ,,need to download a few tracks now .:50:

Yeah they definitely exploded about two years after he died. Here's a good song, shows his witty writing style.

And I'll leave this video up even though you can't play it because there's actually been some controversy about how record companies have bought the rights retroactively to their songs in this convoluted mess. It's * ridiculous... kind of like the situation with Bob Marley and I think Columbia records. You should try to watch the video with the lyrics though... funny song.

Vey witty song writing going on there "She pick up a rock and threw it at the car and it hit my head and i have a scar " Like it .

Im getting tired just now but remember the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson having the rights to the Beatles songs ........trying to remember how that turned out ,help.

    Cheers for that.:50:

I have read some stuff that doesnt shine a great light on Che Guevara. Also,he technically didnt waste his life,as it is his death that gave him his fame.
Biggest name i can recall being gutted at for the pure waste due to death was
    John Lennon.

Che was not the worldwide icon he is today when he died, but to say it is solely that that gave him his fame is untrue,he was probably the 2nd biggest influence in the revolution next to Castro and throughout his tours of many countries Che the interest in him was huge.
I say he wasted his life fighting in a jungle where he didnt need to be imo,but unlike Fidel the strategist,Che wanted action and it is because of this his life was cut short, and wasted.

Well,i take your point, but i dont think it was wasted, infact i am glad he is dead.I have no time for left(or right)wing revolutionaries that think nothing of wasting the lives of others for their own "cause".
